Hey! I'm Nash Amber K. I’m a wife to an awesome man, follower of Jesus and the face behind Set Apart Style. I blog and YouTube all about my natural hair, modest fashion and my faith in Jesus.

By day I’m a Marketing professional and any other time, when I’m not making sweet plantain for me and Hubs...I’m somewhere online, sharing a style video or getting excited about my high-puff and laid edges!➰

People often refer to me as their natural hair, style and/or confidence coach. If it’s not for the love of having healthy Afro hair, then it’s some sort of modest style tip or inspo they come to me for. My motto for all that I do is ‘Look Beyond The Surface’. Because style and beauty is not all about what we portray externally. Pretty faces need a pretty heart too, you know?!

There’s way too many apps and filters that can make us look amazing on the outside, but we can’t filter away areas of our character. That takes intentional effort and if we want it to be a lasting change...we need God’s word for that.
